Husk places 2nd in DTE Clean Energy Prize
Husk placed second in the first annual DTE Clean Energy Prize and collected $21,000. Congratulations to Algal Scientific for their 1st place win and Ikanos Power in 3rd place!

Husk wins sustainability track at CMU McGinnis Venture Competition!
Husk Insulation won the sustainability track at the McGinnis Venture Competition at Carnegie Mellon University and collected $20,000! Congratulations to Dynamics and ElutInc for their wins in the Technology and Life Sciences tracks.

Husk wins Michigan Business Challenge!
Husk won the Pryor-Hale Award for best business at the 2009 Michigan Business Challenge, a university-wide business plan competition open to any University of Michigan student team. The company collected $15,000 in the process! Congratulations to Audiallo (2nd place) and all the other winners!
