Panasonic Cuts Energy Consumption by 50% with Vacuum Insulation
Panasonic (formerly Matsushita) is slated to introduce the world’s most efficient refrigerator that uses 50% of the energy of their other refrigerators. How did they do it? Well, by using vacuum insulated panels!
The refrigerator, only available in Japan, will retail for a pricey $2,700. Husk Insulation is devoted to reducing the cost of vacuum insulation so that anyone can afford an efficient refrigerator.
